Babeland Review ~ Tantus Big Flirt

I’m a huge fan of anal play. For both males and females. If you’ve read some of my reviews you probably noticed that.

I’m also an affiliate of the awesome company Babeland. Babeland is not your run of the mill sex shop. It’s an incredibly awesome sex toy shop, a women friendly boutique have you.  They don’t slather their site will nudity and they’re relatively safe for work. But… they are a sex toy shop, and they do sell adult products, so it all depends on where you work. Babeland has been featured in many a magazine. I’ll throw out a few names that you may recognise and that you also may read: Oprah, Time, Cosmo, Marie Claire, Redbook, Playboy, Newsweek, Forbes, etc., etc. The founders of Babeland, Claire and Rachel, have written books on sex and sex toys including the famed Moregasm which I’ve yet to get my hands on. Yet.

As you can see, they know their stuff. They spend time on twitter, and tweet a wealth of information, so if you read my tweets you’ll often see theirs. To make a slightly long story less drawn out. One day I tweeted my desire to be the owner of one of Tantus’ Famous Big Flirt anal plugs. I didn’t tweet directly @ anyone. Just out at the masses. I didn’t expect a response. Well maybe something like “That’s a great toy”. I surely didn’t expect an offer to review it. But that’s just what I got. Krista, whom I’ve dealt with exclusively from Babeland, is like a Sex Toy Fairy Godmother. She most graciously messaged me an offer to review Tantus Big Flirt anal plug in black. It was like she sprinkled sparkles all over my day. “Yay anal play!” I though to myself, and I smiled like a hyena as she granted my wish. What an awesome lady she is, huh?

My package arrived shortly in a heavy duty brown box, totally discreet, and also totally sturdy. A box to save. Inside was my Big Flirt enclosed in a blanket of packing paper. (I also received a few minutes of video on demand. Thanks Babeland!) Big Flirt is packaged in a Tantus clear plastic box which displays the toy well, and also doubles as perfect storage to keep dust off your toy and ready for play. If you choose to recycle the box, I’d recommend storing your toy in a toy pouch or in a plastic lunch bag. Just keep it clean, and dust and lint free, because silicone attracts all that and more, like a magnet.

Let’s get to talking about Big Flirt. Honestly he’s not that big. Yes I refer to him as a man, and I don’t know why. I do that to most of my toys. Give them a gender that is. The Tantus Big Flirt measures 5 1/4″ x 1 1/2″ which isn’t near as big as the Tantus Ripple lg. Where the Ripple is a bit bulbous at the tip, Big Flirt is more finger-like, and makes for ultimate ease of entry. When lubed. Never forget a lube for anal play. Anal tissue is delicate, and once torn can take long to heal, and is prone to infections. Take care of your body by using a lubricant for anal play, and take care of your toy by not choosing a silicone lube. Silicone lube is totally rad. But… when used on a silicone toy, it can possibly damage the surface. Leaving it lack luster and tacky to the touch. So not cool! I recommend that you use a water based lubricant, and Babeland has plenty to offer.

When I play with my Big flirt, I like to combine him during intercourse with my partner. Anal and vaginal pleasure simultaneously, is pretty damn incredible. And Big Flirt provides a lovely filling feeling, with out getting in the way. BF is just that… my best friend. Tantus should have named him Best Friend, because he’s becoming a member of the family. BF’s flared base not only makes it the perfect choice for safe anal play, but it gets slightly smaller as it reaches the base and its perfect for the anus to get a hold on to. You know. So It doesn’t come flying out during orgasm. I’ve yet to experience that fail using the Big Flirt, but I also have a partner to help out during play. During solo play, the BF is snug underneath my seated or laying body, so really no problems with untimely exits there either. I might not consider Big Flirt the most comfortable anal plug to wear out on the town, because of the base, but in your home with no one to watch you adjust, whatever’s clever.

Now don’t forget that sharing a silicone toy is possible but only with sanitation in between uses. Use the boil method, use the bleach method, or use your dishwasher. What ever way you choose… just do it. Also, if you don’t plan on sharing your toy, you can quite possibly get away with just washing your toy with soap and warm water. I do recommend sanitizing every so often.

Really I have not one complaint about this anal plug. Big Flirt’s absolutely body friendly being made of Tantus premium silicone, which is phthalates free, odorless, tasteless, boilable and bleachable, and entirely non-toxic. BF’s shape makes it a perfect choice for all users from beginners to advanced, and is an all around fabulous performing anal plug. A total winner in my book and also a five star product! Kudos to you Tantus for making top notch toys, and Kudos to Babeland for carrying the finest!
