♦ Review: System Jo Citrus Massage Glide

I love massages. Love, love massages. There’s something so perfect about receiving a massage. The kneading of  all of the stress and knots, out of my body, is the second best thing next to chocolate and of course sex. System Jo has the massage department, on lock. Their Citrus Massage Glide is a fabulous addition to a massage. If you’re a fan of silicone lube and lemon scent [I am],  you’ll more that likely love this product as well.

Citrus Massage Glide comes packaged in a clear bottle with a black press top. Pretty basic. Twist off the top and there will be a red stopper that you’ll need to remove before use. “Meet your new best friend” is printed boldly on the silver band across the label. I agree with System Jo, Citrus is quickly becoming a BFF. This silicone lubricant is both an aid for massage, as well as a personal lubricant. It’s latex friendly, and completely tasteless even though it smells deliciously of lemon balm essential oil. I’m a huge fan of all citrus scents. They’re so lovely and refreshing, and when paired with a massage, well yeah.. my body is in a citrus heaven. But unfortunately the lemony scent doesn’t last nearly as long as I’d wish. [Sad lady.]

When I was given a massage with the Citrus Massage Glide the scent of lemon surrounds me… and then it’s gone. Almost just as quick as it came. Though the scent fades, the product continues lubricate very well. It hasn’t become gloppy ever. It stays silky and smooth for very long periods of time.
This product works very well in the shower. But be cautious if you spill it in the shower or on the floor and don’t use it with Cyberskin, because System Jo says not to. Ok? You’ve been warned. *points at you with a smile* They also say it works with high end silicone toys, but I’m not planning on sacrificing any of my good toys. Maybe a few of my more crappy silicone toys [I won't name any names here], but then it wouldn’t be high end silicone.. so yeah. Glass, metals, ceramic, and wood toys all can be used with this product.

One thing that I also thought was neat, is that System Jo advertises this to be a skin/tattoo conditioner, and that it does. My guy uses a few of my silicone lubes on his tattoos, and this one works very well to condition his skin and make the dark lines pop. It’s a nifty thing to have and use, if you have body art.

In case you’re wondering, the ingredients are: polydimethylsiloxane, decamethylcyclopentasiloxane, octamethylcyclotetr-asiloxane , dimethylsiloxane, hydroxy-terminated. I linked them for the info, and because these are the craziest long words ever in the history of my reviews. They’re all forms of silicone if you don’t feel like clicking on the links.

I’d easily recommend this product to anyone looking for a lightly citrus scented silicone lube. You can use it for massages, for penis, anal, and vag play, use it with toys and condoms, and it conditions your skin and brightens tattoos.¹ It’s basically a jack of all trades.
