♦ Review: The Deluxe Anal Douche

Let me start by saying that this isn’t my first anal douche, I own one other. Or well, I did own one other, but I’ll get to that. I received this anal douche for review, from the super woman friendly, sex positive folks over at Babeland. Now I remember back when I was shopping for my first anal douche, I had no information to go on, and not a clue how to use it. So, If anything, I hope you get some basic anal douching knowledge from this review. I know there are many who are interested in buying an anal douche, but are hesitant in making the purchase for one reason or another. I hope I can answer some of your questions.¹

Ok, so how to use this thing:

• Open your shiny new douche and remove from packaging. Give it an initial rinse off, just to make sure it’s absolutely clean.
• Fill the bulb up with room temp water either by squeezing the bulb then immersing it in a container of water, allowing the suction to pull the water in. [Like a turkey baster.] Or by filling the bulb under the tap.
• Lubricate the end of the douche and the opening of the anus then gently insert the tip of the douche. I advise doing this over the toilet. It keeps the whole process clean and no messes to clean up. You could also do it in the shower, but then you’d have to wash your shower afterward. I’m down for the less clean up of over the toilet.
• Once inserted in the anus, press the bulb of the douche which will result in the water being pushed into your rectum. It will give you a full feeling and gently clean you.
• Remove the douche very gently from your anus, then use your rectal muscles to expel the water out into the toilet. [Voila!]

Now that you know the basics, let me give you a few more very important tips for use:

• Don’t forget to use lube. You might tear your sensitive tissue and that would be very painful and dangerous for your health.
• Don’t use hot water. Uh yeah that will burn you like a MF, and it can cause severe damage. Don’t do it. Luke warm only.
• Don’t use soap. Never let me hear that you douched either your anus, or your vagina, with soapy water. That’s terrible for those two blessed areas. Terrible! Only use pure water.
• Don’t douche every day. Your body needs time to build up the natural goodness [oils and good bacteria] that lives in your nether region. Don’t daily douche or you’ll likely mess with your anal zen.
• Always remember to use lubricant when inserting anything anally. Especially with anal penetration after one has douched. Lube is thy friend!
• Wash your douche after each and every use. Soap and water here folks, just be sure to rinse the soap off very well.
• Last but very important, if you encounter pain… stop immediately! Uh yeah, that’s a given but felt I needed to say it.

On to performance. The Deluxe Anal Douche works very well, and I’ve no complaints. Squeeze it, and it pushes the water out. Simple as that. No leaks, just a great douche. It has two different sized nozzles and both work well. It’s comprised of a Silicone bulb and ABS plastic nozzles. The small nozzle measures 3″ x 1/4″, the larger nozzle measures 4-1/2″ x 3/4″,a and the bulb itself measures 5-1/4″ x 3-1/4″. I felt very clean afterward and ready for lots of anal loving.

I recommend this as an easy to use, quality anal douche. Though you do not necessarily need to douche, to have anal sex, this is a great way to ensure you’re clean and ready for ass love.² I’ve made the exec decision and decided one anal douche is enough for me. For lack of space to store two, and because this one is all black and works fabulously, I decided it’s the keeper.³
