♦ System Jo Review ~ Juicy Pineapple

Along with the uber tasty Chocolate Delight and Sweet Pomegranate lubes, the folks at System Jo sent me a bottle of their Juicy Pineapple water-based flavored lube for review.

Just like both of the previous System Jo water-based lubes that I have reviewed, Juicy Pineapple came packaged in the very same clear, cylindrical shaped, plastic bottle with a neat pop top. I like that the bottle is clear, making it very easy to see how much of the product is left. The packaging on a whole is nice to look at. Clean and chic.

To open the lube, simply remove the sanitary seal over the top of the bottle and press the red button. The lid then pops right open. Press the lid closed and it will snap shut. Though I don’t believe that it will stay closed if it’s packed for travel. If you plan on traveling with this lube, I advise that you tape the top closed in a similar fashion as the sanitary seal, and pack it in a plastic sandwich bag.

From my experience, lubes that contain glycerin are not very friendly to my vagina, so I choose to not use them vaginally, and I’ve also heard that from other reviewers. Juicy Pineapple is a lovely pineapple tasting lube that also happens to contain glycerin. I honestly did not try this lube vaginally, but I did use it with a bullet vibe for a little bit of clitoral play. I’ve mainly used the System Jo lubes on my partners penis, and I’m happy to inform that Juicy Pineapple was a great addition to both hand jobs and blow jobs alike. It’s very silky for a water-based lube.  The Pineapple flavor is sweet and tasty, but not overly sweet. I did notice that it has a slight lubey taste, but nothing that would deter me from using it again on my partner.

So far, my fiance and I have enjoyed all three of the System Jo water-based flavored lubes that we’ve tried. They all have great flavor, and they work quite well for lubricating his awesome parts. The only thing that will make the System Jo water-based flavored lubes absolutely fabulous in my book, would be to make them in a glycerin free formula. [Purdy please?] If this lube didn’t contain glycerin, I’d be going crazy over it. Right now, I’m kinda bummed that these System Jo water-based lubes do, because I know many folks including myself won’t be willing to risk a candida infection to use it vaginally. Juicy Pineapple has taken it’s rightful place in the jack off bin, a bin of lubes that I’ve created for my guy to jack-it with. It’s a good performing lube, but it’s just not entirely useful to me. Though it is very, very useful to my partner.
