So far, I haven’t met a Sliquid lube that I didn’t enjoy, and Sliquid Swirl Pink Lemonade is not the exception. Pink Lemonade is hypoallergenic, glycerin-free, paraben-free, and gluten-free. Totally body friendly and 100% vegan.

When I hosted the Pink Lemonade giveaway last month, care of Babeland, I was hoping that I’d eventually have a chance to review it. Recently Babeland graciously offered this lube for us reviewers to try out, and I’m thrilled because I love it! Pink Lemonade as the beverage is oh-so delicious and also one of my favorites. Pink Lemonade the lube, came in the same 4.2oz bottle as the Sliquid Swirl Green Apple Tart. Only, Pink Lemonade is adorned with a vibrant hot pink and sunny yellow label, with the lovely Sliquid flower logo and a matching yellow press top.

The scent and flavor of this lube is bright and delicious. It smells like a tall glass of Pink Lemonade, and tastes of a more subtle version. Not too heavy on the flavor, and it’s not overly sweetened either. Which is perfect, because I don’t want the flavored lube to overwhelm the natural scent and taste of my partner. And, Sliquid did a fabulous job of making sure that doesn’t happen.

The ingredients are simple: Purified water, plant cellulose (from cotton), cyamopsis (guar conditioners), Lemon and grapefruit flavoring, aspartame, potassium sorbate, citric acid.
On Sliquid’s website I read that all Sliquid Swirl formulations start with the original Sliquid Naturals H2O water-based lubricant, and then they add flavoring and a hint of aspartame to sweeten. Which means if you are allergic to aspartame this lube might not be the best choice for you.

Sliquid Swirl Pink Lemonade performs as well as it tastes. The viscosity of this lube is semi thin, and it easily dribbles out of the bottle and down ones hand, labia, toy, or penis with very little pressure given to the bottle. I loved using this lube during a blow job¹ and I noticed when used during oral with my partner I did need to reapply once. But, during vaginal intercourse, that was not the case. No re-application necessary, and it doesn’t get sticky.

Both my fiancée and I are very picky about flavors and scents, and the delicate scent and flavor of this lube is a new favorite of ours. But I’m mostly pleased with Pink Lemonade because it’s tasty AND² it’s vagina-safe.
