Pipedream Review ~ Boobies Cake Pan

The Pipedream Boobie Cake Pan is a very cute addition to a sexy bakers pantry. A cake pan in the shape of a lovely set of breasts, complete with nipples! Now, that’s a pan I *must* have. Luckily I received both the Boobies cake pan, and also the Cock cake pan by Pipedream, for review. Kevin hooked a little lady up. And I’m most grateful! I hope my cake pics deliver, and in case you’re wondering friends, I’ll be reviewing the Cock cake pan next weekend!

Today I’d like to share with you the Boobies cake pan, and also the finish product. A delicious set of carrot cake boobs. The Boobies cake pan measures 11.4 in. x 7.1 in. and weighs 9.8 oz.
My first choice was chocolate devils food cake with chocolate icing. But then my guy gave me the idea, that since the pan is just about life size, I ought to make them look like my own two breasticles. So I did. I made a carrot cake with cream cheese frosting. Because I’m pale.
*Remember to grease and flour your pan for ease of removal after baking. If not… you’re screwed. This cake pan is not non-stick. And do not fill your pan all of the way. I left about an inch.

I added a bit more butter in the frosting, that way it would be workable. Cream cheese frosting tends to be thick and buttercream is a bit easier to work with.
Easy recipe = Equal measurements of cream cheese to butter. Powder sugar being the emulsifier. (Email me if you want actual recipes.) I also always use real vanilla bean in my cream cheese frosting. I like the black specs and rich vanilla flavor.
Anyhoo, moving on.

Once the cake was finished baking I inverted it on a cooling rack to obviously cool it. This is key for making the cake come out of the pan easily and with out mastectomy. (Or areola-ectomy for that matter.)
Notice the legs on the pan. They help for even baking. I had no problems with the baking, even when baked in my completely uneven temperature oven.

I have to say that I felt terrible slicing my breasts in half! Wouldn’t you?

But all is well because I filled my chi chi’s with only the finest. The delectable cream cheese frosting, and of course I made a fabulous simple syrup with butterscotch schnapps vanilla bean, raw sugar and a dash of molasses, to brush over the sponge cake.

I then iced it once with a crumb coat. That’s a trick of the trade. (First coat it, refrigerate it, then coat it again for a evenly covered surface.)

I used the leftover frosting and a dash of peach color to make my nipples.

Then I roasted some sliced almonds, because what carrot cake is served with out roasted almonds? Not one coming out of my kitchen! Yum.
And lastly I added the almonds to the bottom edge of my tits.

Oh I almost forgot, I also added a little bling with a pair of gold heart nipple drops! Ooh la lah! C’est très magnifique!

The Pipedream Boobie Cake Pan is a performer. It bakes evenly and I know I’ll be using it often. Therefore, I’m awarding this pan my highest medal of valor. A five star rating! Cheer’s to you Pipedream!
