I love massages. And I love lotion. And I do love-me this massage lotion. It’s scent is a gingery-coconut-citrus-spice and it smells absolutely lovely. Like a tropic breeze. Or what a tropic breeze’s should smell like. It’s neither feminine nor masculine. It’s pretty much unisex. And yummy.

Not only does this lotion smell wonderful, but it’s also a good companion for massage. Beyond Euphoric will provide you with a great amount of moisture,  and surprisingly it’s not greasy feeling, like you’d assume from a massage lotion. It’s very moisturizing, and causes the skin to be much more supple and ready for some heavy kneading.

Now as with all massage lotions, balms, bars, and oils, there is a reason why your potion might seem to soak in to you skin rather quickly.

Maybe because you didn’t moisturize your skin that day? And your parched innards envelope is looking for moisture wherever it can get it?

Yep, that’s probably the case if you’ve experienced massage lotion failure. I recommend that you moisturize your skin. Once daily at the least. With a good lotion. I don’t recommend that you reach for a drug store bottle of $1.99 artificial slop. Grab an all natural good for you moisture, slather up daily, and prior to a massage session. Your skin will thank you, and your massage potion of choice will preform much better for you.

Beyond Euphoric’s natural plant extracts are supposed to promote the release of Beta-Endorphins creating the sense of well being. A Beta-Endorphin is a naturally occurring opiate neurotransmitter released when the body is under stress; responsible for pain reduction. I truly can’t say that I’ve experienced pain reduction, or mood altering. Although a massage usually brings me a sense of well being, and pain free “floating on a cloud” feeling, anyway.

The ingredients in this Jimmyjane massage lotion are: purified water (aqua), cathamus tinctorius (safflower) seed oil, emulsifying wax NF, caprylic/capric triglyceride, cocos nucifera (coconut) and gardenia tahitensis (monoi) oil, rhodiola rosea (rose root) extract, dimethicone, cocos nucifera (coconut) extract, cananga odorata (ylang ylang) oil, citrus aurantifolia (lime) oil, tocopherol (vitamin E) acetate and ascorbyl palmitate (vitamin C ester), ascorbic acid (vitamin C), xanthan potassium sorbate, phenoxyethanol and caprylyl glycol.

The tube itself is white and has a nice matte finish to it. I like the texture. The graphics are clean and simple, and just what I look for in a product. I really don’t care to see an overly adorned product. Usually because that means the product itself is lacking. Sometimes less is more. And that’s definitely the case here.

Now the question is… Did Jimmyjanes Beyond Euphoric preform to my standards? I’d have to say yes it did! It’s not only totally moisturizing, but it smells absolutely delicious! It provided a good amount of slip with out feeling greasy. But. I honestly must admit that I wont be using mine for massages. I’m saving this one for myself. It’s scent is one of the most appealing scents I’ve come across in a while. And I’m using it as a moisturizer on my décolleté so I can smell it. Because I’m selfish like that. And because I can. Jimmyjane’s Beyond Euphoric massage lotion is a five star product, and also my favorite lotion to date.
