When I found out Good Vibes was offering the Tunnel of Love for review, I knew that I had to have my partner try it out. I absolutely LOVE silicone toys for their durability and because they can be sanitized. They’re also phthalates free and non porous. Which means they’ll last a lifetime with the proper care, and they’re entirely body safe. So, a silicone masturbation sleeve sounded like the perfect toy for him.
We received the West Portal - Tunnel of Love, in the vanilla anus version. Which mimics a Caucasian anus. It came packaged in a clear plastic clam shell that is very easy to open. It can also be saved and used for storage, though we have ours in a toy pouch. The graphics on the packaging are a few pictures of a mans ass in tight white hot shorts. [Cute tight bum.] There are also a few pics of San Francisco landmarks - the Coit tower, the Kink building, a street car, & a Folsom street sign.
The Good Vibes Tunnel of Love measures 6 3/4” long and stretches up to 2 1/2” in diameter. The interior of the sleeve is ribbed, and the ribs are very sturdy. Nothing like any of the other sleeves that we’ve tried. The opening of the sleeve anus is very tight and has much less give than any of the sleeves in our experience. Most probably because of the sleeve being made of silicone. If placed on the table anus side down, it stands well on its own, but is also flexible enough to be bent. We used this lube when trying the Tunnel of Love, and I recommend using water based lube only.
Now if I were to design the Tunnel of Love, I’d probably try to make it just a bit more flesh like. Maybe use a softer silicone? But I’m also so happy to have found a sleeve which is made of silicone, and I understand that silicone is not the most plush material type. When I asked my guy what he would rate this sleeve out of 5, he responded with a 3.8. Hmmm…. I’m going to round up, and give the Tunnel of Love a four star rating. The fact that it’s made of silicone is pretty awesome in itself. If it were to be more flesh like I’d definitely give it a 5. But it gets the job done pretty well. And my guy thinks that it’s much better than “that egg crap” [His words not mine. Aka the Tenga Egg] that we tried a while ago.
